Kitty Pinkstars = Love

I <3 Kitty Pinkstars... she's one of the sweetest most genuine people I've ever come across on the web... and I'm so glad I was finally able to add one of her Wookies to our collection. Rozzlyn absolutely LOVES rolling it around...

We love it OH so much... we even made a little video :)

You should definitely take a second to stop by her Etsy shop... and if you don't already - go "like" her fan page on facebook for daily doses of smiles, rainbows and hamsters named Walter.  I would say I have a slight addiction... and check her shop at LEAST a few times a week to make sure I don't miss any plush that I can't live without... but they go so stinking fast I have a hard time getting them in time! Now that I have one to love on in person... I definitely need more! And, they're so affordable... so check her out... have some Kitty Pinkstars?! Tell me about it!

Review of My Little Feather Plush Owl!

It would be near impossible for me to choose a "favorite plush" from my *ahem* sorry... Rozzlyn's plush collection. But I gotta say, in a sea of pink, black, and lime green - our new punky owl from My Little Feather stands out...

I have been a huge fan of My Little Feather from the moment I first say her OH SO CUTE pirate owls... I mean seriously, how can you not love them!! In an Etsy world full of plush, My little Feather has really found her niche and made them her own. If you havn't yet - be sure to "like" her on facebook so you can see the new plush as the are posted. 

When My Little Feather contacted my about a revie I literally squealed with delight. I had already showed her a ton of love just by seeing her awesome product online... but the idea of getting my hands on one! LOVE!!! We worked together to come up with the perfect one to match Rozzlyn's room. 

The colors and prints coordinate perfectly with her bedding... 

 I love the color of pink that she used in the felt and on the wings... and just the little pops of lime green...

And if you noticed.. the scribble skulls print is one I used in her quilt and her bumpers! 

How cute is that little r on the butt?! That was an awesome surprise I didn't see until I got it in the mail. The quality that comes from this shop absolutely blew my mind. Each stitch is perfect... every detail is carefully thought out... creating a high-quality item thats worth every penny... and the price? Totally reasonable for a plush of this size. *which makes me happy as I consider my next owl* I just love watching Ms. Rozzlyn inspect the different prints and textures... 

Her little fingers are too cute feeling the textures of the buttons and threads. 

My next purchase most definitely has to be one with glasses and a mustache... what?! Hipster owl?! Oh yes... she makes those too ;) 

So - needless to say... Ms. Rozz approves completely...

Favorites Friday - Sleeeeeeeeep......

Ugh, guys, let me have a pity party for a second... *wahhhh* IM SOOOOO TIRED!!*wahhhh* what a long week. Im SOO thankful to have my amazing new babysitter. Shes been working just as hard as I have. Every day this week I have worked at least 9 hours, just sewing non stop. I hands hurt, my legs hurt, my back & neck hurt... and i am FINALLY almost caught back up... SOOO happy. (and im sure and of you waiting on an order are too, lol) So here I sit tonight, the first minute I have had to do my favorites friday post and all i can think about is sleep. So what shall the topic be this week? Duh, SLEEPY TIME! This are all the things I would love to prep me and then snuggle me as I crawl into bed tonight...

Something to be thankful for...

So - let me start this out with saying I hate Thanksgiving... I hate the holidays... and it hate it all even more being so far away from family... When I was 13 my parents split... then my grandpa died about a week before Thanksgiving... But the time Thanksgiving had actrually rolled aroun we were so tired of Ham, Turkey & casseroles that we actually made Turkey Taco's & burritos for dinner that year. Let me tell ya, it made it hard to be thankful that Thanksgiving... But every year it gets a little easier... instead of being angry... instead of crying... now I just spend the week a little sad... trying to make the best of the day... and get it over with as fast as possible. But, Im always trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel. And this year... it was easier to find that flickering light... the store has been super busy... thus I have busting my butt and staying distracted... this year I did a big push for Black Friday... worked all wednesday and half of Thanksgiving just trying to get ready for it... and biggest kicker to a good Thanksgiving? Hubby did it all!

The day started out with me totally screwing up some Blueberry pancakes... lol the MIL was missing the boys and always made them Blueberry pancakes in the mornings when she had them, so she sent a box of mix in a goodie box last week to make for Thanksgiving breakfast :) I totally destroyed the first two... "thankfully" daddy stepped in and took over... doing a MUCH better job than I did.... either way... the toddlers ate them. We didn't have a "who's was better" contest... but if we did, I probably would have won. lol



After breakfast there was lots of snuggling... watching the Macy's parade... dancing to Yo Gabba Gabba... watching movies...
and prepping dinner... yes... while wearing grown man butt drop zip up feety jammies.

it was nice... after that the babies napped... we hung out... daddy watched football while I took photos and listed all the new goodies you now see in the shop, well... whats left of them... :) And then when the boys got up we started putting together the tree...

I love my tree... its big and full... 9ft tall... Full of pink purple and black glitter ornaments... Skeleton hands made by me with cute little matching bows added to them... handmade skulls from etsy.. and awesome dark pink and purple damask ribbons and matching tree skirt... oh, and lets not forget the lineup of Nightmare Before Christmas Stockings ;)

I suppose if you have to do Christmas... you should do it up right, lol And in this family... that means lots of skulls, pink, black & glitter, lol
Finally - the feast was ready... it was about 3 days worth of food for zaq, myself and the boys... aparently you can't make thanksgiving dinner for just a couple people, lol It was amazing... He hit a total of 3 out of 4 things right on... The turkey was possibly the best I had EVER had... and a close second was the home made mashed potatoes.... i was actually excited to eat it the next day... the rolls... so warm and yummy... the stuffing? FAIL! lol it was dry, crunchy, hard... and sadly... it all ended up in the trash except for what we tried to eat, lol He did SOO great though. I was proud...



So thats it guys... Thanksgiving turned out to be a pretty decent day after all... But just like Brooke said in her blog... Im thankful for my friends and family every day... and every day I kiss on them and love on them... and tell them thank you every time im thankful.. I don't need a day called Thanksgiving to be thankful... let alone a day dedicated to food and football... and family when their not doing one of the other twothings... I just need my friends & my family... every day... and for them to love me like i love them.

I feel like a failure...

Ya know - with all the hard work Ive been doing around here...
I really feel like a failure.
Ive been busting my bum in the store, like always...
Ive been trying to set aside extra special learning and play time with the boys...
We've been going on the occasional walk, bike ride... and or trip to the park...
Making sure the house is nice and clean every day when hubby comes home...
and been cooking yummy, well, usually yummy dinners...
but even after all that... something is dragging on me...
what is it you ask? This blog...
And Brooke... your BLOG has really been rubbing it in...
(Keep up the good work girlie, it rocks!)
I know I know... I have awesome reviews right?

But I always want more out of it...
every time I build myself up to REALLY start blogging again...
I end up letting myself down.
