Round Two of the baby shower! Giveaway #5 StellarCheri



Surely you have heard me rant and rave about a good friend of mine... the mama behind StellarCheri... Not only does she design and create the most AMAZING diaper bags for our shop... but she also has her own store... (of course) and if you havn't checked it out yet... you must. StellarCheri is full of amazingness! I have been drooling over her goodies since she opened up her shop WAYYY back when... and since then - she has it overflowing with so much fun... messenger bags, lap top sleeves, clutches...... hair clips, toddler dresses...  Super fun little key chain pouches... shirts, corsets... 

THe list goes on and on... but before I wrap it up - I have to tell you about our MOST favorite item in the shop... and I stand by it completely because I have about 8 or so of them... her Snack bags... I have had some from different shops, but my favorites are by far from Cheri... "StellarCheri's Eco friendly, reusable bags are made using 100% cotton fabric on the outside and are fully lined with PEVA. PEVA is a plastic material that is food safe, water proof, PVC-free, lead free, BPA free, non-chlorinated, biodegradable, easy to clean. Bag is the perfect size for a sandwich, its great for snacks like crackers, cereal, apples, grapes, celery, carrots and more (thanks to the water resistant lining). Its even great for things other than foods too." So you can see why we love them so much right? I love filling them up when we head to Target Field to watch a baseball game... for picnic's at the park... or even just snuggling up to a movie and a snack... the boys love getting to pick which bag they get to use... and as a mom, i love knowing I'm doing something ecofriendly and good for my kids.     I'm already a fan of StellarCheri on facebook! And I do love her snack bags, I've also used them for packing liquids or lotions in my suitcase, so they don't spill in case of accidental openings!

    I've been a fan of both rockerbyebaby and stellarcheri.

    My fav is Halloween Trick or Treat Snack Bag...i LOVE halloween stuff!!
    My other fav is the rose snack bag u have pictured above cause I have a cloth diaper for my baby to be in that fabric.

    I'm a stay at home mom myself so this tip is easy. MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF! This is important for any parent,but more so for a stay at home one. It's so easy to lose yourself and forget to take/make time for you.

    As a working mom, the biggest challenge on the weekend days is to stick to a morning routine so that we have the option of leaving the house. Try to find time to shower and get dressed in real clothes everyday, you'll feel so refreshed. But don't beat yourself up if you spend all day in your pajamas, especially at the beginning! :)

    I don't have a lot of SAHM tips because I work full time. But on the weekends when I'm home the best thing for us is to have a set schedule and things that we do fir just us. For example, every Saturday my son and I have lunch at Steak n' Shake. He doesn't care right now, but it will be valuable to him when he gets older.

    Stay at home mom tips.... sleep when your baby sleeps, don't worry if the house is messy, enjoy every minute with your little one.... eventhough they are young, try and start a schedule as best as possible, ALWAYS have your baby sleep in a crib, it is IMPOSSIBLE to break them of the habit of sleeping in your bed.... my second child did that, he's 4 and still in our bed.... Congrats Sarah!

    new stay at home mom tip... hummm..... I do think it's important to have alone time (mine's at night when the kids go to bed), socializing with other grown-ups regularly helps too (playgroups maybe)

    Stay at home mommy tip: Keep your mascara by your toothbrush, even the sleep deprived can feel a lil more human, if you have on a lil mascara and clean teeth! :)

    SAHM tip. ROUTINE ROUTINE ROUTINE. Stick to the routine that you have your child on, don't change it unless you absolutely have to. Trust me it works!! Babies love routine and repetition! Also be sure to make time for YOU.
